In celebration of Hendrick Motorsports’ 40th Anniversary season, Lionel Racing is excited to offer fans a special 1:64-scale die-cast set that spotlights the team’s incredible history with four replicas of the cars that will race for the win at Martinsville Speedway this April. Hendrick Motorsports teammates Kyle Larson, Chase Elliott, William Byron, and Alex Bowman will each race a special radiant red livery at the same track where the team won its first race in 1984. Each of these four cars will be replicated in die-cast form in this unique set. Lionel Racing is also commemorating this special recognition of 40 years of wins and championships with specially-designed packaging that will honor the team’s astonishing history and its winning tradition that continues in its 40th season. This set will contain Larson’s No. 5 HendrickCars.com, Elliott’s No. 9 UniFirst, Byron’s No. 24 Axalta, and Bowman’s No. 48 Ally Chevrolets in a ruby red livery that will race at Martinsville. Each of these 1:64-scale die-cast is built on Lionel Racing’s NASCAR® Next Gen tooling and feature realistic details like rolling Goodyear tires, hand-placed decals, a driver-side window net, and more. Each will also include a commemorative Hendrick Motorsports 40th Anniversary decal on the C-post.
