Driving the No. 67 Toyota Camry TRD on the famed 2.439-mile Indianapolis circuit, Kobyashi became just the second driver from Japan to compete in a NASCAR Cup Series® points race. The former Formula 1 driver featured the support of Toyota Genuine Parts and the Toyota Gazoo Racing motorsports division that develops technologies for the GR brand of Toyota’s performance-oriented vehicles.
