In the 2019 Bojangles’ Southern 500, Wood Brothers Racing driver Paul Menard will race a car that honors his team’s legendary founder Glen Wood, who passed away earlier this year at the age of 93. As part of the sport’s Official Throwback Weekend at Darlington Raceway, Menard’s No. 21 Motorcraft Ford Mustang will sport a red-and-black livery inspired by the convertible Wood drove in 1957 in what was then the NASCAR® Grand National Series.
