RICKY STENHOUSE JR 2015 DARLINGTON DAVID PEARSON THROWBACK 1/24 ACTION GOLD SERIES
Limited edition of 433 made. Back in the late 1960s David Pearson steered the Holman-Moody-owned No. 17 Ford to two consecutive NASCAR Sprint Cup Series™ championships. In addition to winning the 1968 and 1969 titles, the future NASCAR Hall of Famer won a combined 27 races between the two campaigns.
In the May 1968 event at Darlington Raceway, Pearson piloted the blue-and-gold No. 17 Ford to victory. Forty-seven years later, the No. 17 Ford, driven by Ricky Stenhouse Jr., will once again carry the championship-winning scheme at the track “Too Tough to Tame” in a historic nod to the legendary driver.
The Roush Fenway Racing-owned throwback car will be sponsored by Cargill. Stenhouse fans around the country can now pre-order the No. 17 Cargill Throwback Ford as an Action Racing Collectables die-cast. Each one is exquisitely detailed and designed with the finest craftsmanship.
