Two of the most exciting drivers in NASCAR® , Shane van Gisbergen and Connor Zilisch, will battle head-tohead for road course supremacy on the streets of Chicago on Saturday, July 5.
Both drivers will wheel JR Motorsports Chevrolets as teammates, but only one driver will come out on top of the NASCAR Xfinity Series® duel in the “Windy City.” WeatherTech and Red Bull, both valued partners of the drivers and the JRM team, will provide the support for both van Gisbergen and Zilisch as they vie for Victory Lane.
Van Gisbergen enters the July 5 event as the defending race winner and a multi-time NASCAR Xfinity Series® road course race victor. Zilisch, who is in his rookie season in the NASCAR Xfinity Series® with JR Motorsports, has two road course victories already on his young resume. Both drivers will challenge one another and the rest of the field on one of the most challenging road courses on the series’ schedule.
