Hendrick Motorsports® star William Byron scored an Overtime NASCAR Xfinity Series® victory in dramatic fashion at Charlotte Motor Speedway. Byron had to overcome a pit road speeding penalty in the second stage and utilized a late-race pit stop for tires to put himself in position to pounce in the closing laps. Byron took the lead for the final time on the Overtime restart and held on for his first NASCAR Xfinity Series® win of the 2025 season in just his second start.
