Ryan Blaney had to out-last Mother Nature and withstand challenges throughout the Coca-Cola 600, the longest race on the NASCAR Cup Series® schedule, to end a 59-race winless streak at Charlotte Motor Speedway. In a race delayed a day by rain and slowed early on by additional showers on Memorial Day Monday, Blaney was able to score his first victory since August of 2021 by leading a race-high 163 laps, including the final 26 in the 600-mile grind. Blaney’s victory with the No. 12 BODYARMOR Camo Ford Mustang completed a Memorial Day weekend sweep for team owner Roger Penske, whose entry also won the 500-mile open-wheel race in Indianapolis.
