After claiming the pole position this past Sunday for the February 21 DAYTONA 500®, the 20-year-old driver from Georgia held off a last-second charge as he crossed the finish line to win the PowerShares QQQ 300 at the “World Center of Racing.”

Elliott started 19th in the JR Motorsports-owned No. 88 TaxSlayer.com Chevrolet Camaro and led three times a total of 19 laps, including the final 14 trips around the 2.5-mile track. The win was his fifth in the series and first at Daytona.
