At Talladega Superspeedway on May 1, 1983, Waltrip had hopes of clinching his fifth win at the Alabama track. Fate, however, had other plans. On lap 70, Waltrip tangled with Phil Parsons, resulting in a scary 11-car crash that ended Waltrip’s day. He never raced the white Pepsi Challenger again. Now the die-cast of this one-time-only car is available for the first time from Lionel NASCAR Collectables.
