Earnhardt’s blue and yellow ride replicates the paint scheme his legendary grandfather drove during the 1981 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series season, which included a sixth-place finish in the fall event at the egg-shaped South Carolina track. The younger Earnhardt will make his first Darlington start in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series in the Sunday night race. This year marks his first full-time season in the premier series.
