Richard Childress Racing driver Austin Dillon will be joining longtime partner Dow to honor veterans of the United States Armed Forces with a special paint scheme at Michigan International Speedway. When Dillon takes the green flag on June 9, he’ll be riding with the names of hundreds of Dow and Richard Childress Racing employees who are veterans or who have veterans in their families. These names will take pride of place on the hood of Dillon’s No. 3 Dow Salutes Veterans Chevrolet Camaro ZL1, which is a patriotic design inspired by a paint scheme raced by Dale Earnhardt in 1996.
