When the younger Elliott took the checkered flag in his No. 9 NAPA Auto Parts Chevrolet atPhoenix to clinch the 2020 crown, it meant that he and Bill, who also drove the No. 9 to his title, became just the third father-son pairing to earn a championship at the highest level of NASCAR®.To honor the championships of both Bill and Chase Elliott, Lionel Racing is excited to announce the No. 9 “Family Tradition” fantasy die-cast. Lionel Racing’s team of artists have created a design that combines Chase Elliott’s No. 9 NAPA Auto Parts Chevrolet Camaro with a design that reflects Bill Elliott’s No. 9 championship-winning mount from 1988.
