NASCAR legend Dale Earnhardt Jr. has been an avid online simulation racer for almost as long as hes been a driver of real-life stock cars. One of the pioneers of sim racing movement, Earnhardt still competes on the popular simulation iRacing even today as he stays competitive even after his full-time NASCAR driving career has come to an end. During the spring of 2020, Earnhardt and many fellow NASCAR drivers are competing in a special multi-week iRacing series, the eNASCAR iRacing Pro Series Invitational. In the series first event, the Dixie Vodka 150 at the virtual Homestead-Miami Speedway, Earnhardt drove the No. 8 FilterTime Chevrolet to a second-place finish after a thrilling side-by-side duel for the victory.
