Richard Petty Motorsports and driver Erik Jones honored the trailblazing World War II pilots known as the Tuskegee Airmen during the NASCAR Cup SeriesTM event at Talladega Superspeedway. In partnership with the U.S. Air Force, the paint scheme on Jones’ No. 43 Chevrolet matched the aircraft flown in World War II by the Tuskegee Airmen, the first African-American military aviators in the United States Armed Forces.
