The Grateful Dead celebrated their 60th anniversary in 2025, and Meyer Shank Racing marked the occasion with one of the most colorful paint schemes to hit the INDYCAR circuit.
Felix Rosenqvist drove the No. 60 SiriusXM Honda featuring a special Grateful Dead tribute design at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca. The car's psychedelic, tie-dye-inspired colors pay tribute to the band's unmistakable artwork, complete with Grateful Dead logos, roses, and 60th anniversary graphics. SiriusXM's Grateful Dead Channel 23 also features prominently on the car.
IXO has reproduced this special paint scheme in 1/18 scale, capturing the multicolored bodywork, intricate sponsor graphics, and distinctive open-wheel design. The model comes packaged in a matching Grateful Dead 60th anniversary collector's window box, making the presentation almost as colorful as the car itself.
It's a particularly interesting crossover collectible, with appeal to INDYCAR enthusiasts, Grateful Dead fans, and collectors of music-themed racing diecasts.
