Jesse Love put on a clinic at Phoenix Raceway on October 17, 2026, dominating the Timberland PRO 200 and bringing his No. 2 Whelen Chevrolet Camaro to Victory Lane for Richard Childress Racing!
The defending NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Parts Series champion started from the pole and led an impressive 156 of 200 laps, sweeping both stages before holding off a determined Sam Mayer in a dramatic finish.
Despite controlling much of the race, Love had his hands full in the closing laps. Mayer steadily closed the gap and reached Love's rear bumper in the final corners, making contact as the two battled toward the checkered flag. Love held his ground and crossed the finish line just 0.128 seconds ahead, securing his second victory of the 2026 season and fifth career series win.
The victory couldn't have come at a better time. With just three races remaining in the NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Parts Series Chase, Love's dominant performance moved him into the championship points lead, giving him a 36-point advantage as he pursues his second consecutive series title.
