The thrill of NASCAR is captured in this new 0 gauge train set from Lionel. Designed for NASCAR fans everywhere, Lionel has created a set inspired by the excitement and spectacle of their favorite sport. This set boasts a train as dazzling as any NASCAR vehicles, complete with a colorfully decorated GP38 diesel locomotive engine, a single-dome tank car, a box car with the champions trophy, and a caboose. Other features include a flat car with billboards, three straight FasTrack sections, eight curved FasTrack sections, a FasTrack terminal section, and a powerful Lionel transformer. The locomotive features include a transformer controlled forward, neutral, and reverse operation, TrainSounds sound system with diesel engine revving, horn, bell squealing brakes, and an operator-controlled multi-part crew dialog. Other locomotive features are an operating headlight, dual operating couplers, dual powerful maintenance-free motors, metal frame, and an operating strobe light. Rolling stock features include operating couplers, removable billboards on flatcar, and interior illumination in the caboose.
