A watermelon farmer-turned-NASCAR driver became a first-time NASCAR XFINITY Series™ winner when Ross Chastain wheeled the No. 42 DC Solar Chevrolet Camaro to victory in the DC Solar 300 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway on September 15. Chastain was making his 132nd career XFINITY Series start, but in a new opportunity with Chip Ganassi Racing. He led 180 of the 200 laps and swept the stages, but the 25-year-old driver had to survive three restarts over the final 20 laps to earn the victory. Now, NASCAR fans can celebrate this first win by pre-ordering the official die-cast from Lionel Racing. The die-cast version of Chastain’s No. 42 DC Solar Chevrolet Camaro is being offered on the 1:24-scale Action Racing Collectibles (ARC) hood-open tooling and will feature all the markings that the car had as it sat in victory lane.
