Wood Brothers Racing will honor NASCAR Hall of Fame™ driver Cale Yarborough’s first Southern 500 win when Paul Menard takes the track at Darlington Raceway as part of The Official Throwback Weekend of NASCAR®. On September 2, 1968, Yarborough was driving the No. 21 Ford Mercury for the Wood Brothers team when he won for the first time on his hometown track. He’s the last driver to win on the original Darlington pavement and now, 50 years later, Menard will honor that historic victory with a specially designed Motorcraft Ford Fusion.
