After completing a weekend sweep with victories in both the O'Reilly Series and NASCAR Cup Series races, SVG showcased his trademark precision and racecraft on the winding Sonoma circuit. Despite intense pressure over the closing laps, the New Zealand superstar never flinched, driving his No. 97 Trackhouse Racing Chevrolet to his second Cup Series victory of the 2026 season and the eighth of his NASCAR Cup career. The victory also officially kicked off NASCAR's In-Season Challenge in winning fashion.
