Shane van Gisbergen once again proved he’s the king of NASCAR road course racing with a dominant victory in the 2026 Go Bowling at The Glen at Watkins Glen International.
After starting from the pole and leading an incredible 74 of 100 laps, SVG put on a road racing masterclass behind the wheel of the No. 97 Trackhouse Racing Chevrolet. Even after falling deep in the field during late pit strategy cycles, van Gisbergen stormed back through traffic and hunted down the leaders, retaking the top spot with just laps remaining before driving away to a commanding 7+ second victory.
The win marked van Gisbergen’s seventh NASCAR Cup Series victory — all coming on road or street courses — and his second straight Watkins Glen triumph.
