Despite battling damage after an off-track excursion earlier in the race, Zilisch never gave up and made the winning move in Turn 7 on the final lap, edging Love by just 0.262 seconds at the checkered flag.
The victory marked Zilisch’s third consecutive NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series win at Watkins Glen, keeping his perfect record intact at the historic road course. The win was also the 13th of his already impressive NASCAR O’Reilly career and continued JR Motorsports’ incredible road course dominance.
