Connor Zilisch added another unforgettable chapter to his growing NASCAR legacy with a thrilling last-lap victory in the 2026 Mission 200 at Watkins Glen International.
Driving the No. 1 JR Motorsports Chevrolet, Zilisch charged through the field in the closing laps on fresher tires and delivered an incredible final-corner pass on Jesse Love to steal the win in dramatic fashion. Despite battling damage after an off-track excursion earlier in the race, Zilisch never gave up and made the winning move in Turn 7 on the final lap, edging Love by just 0.262 seconds at the checkered flag.
The victory marked Zilisch’s third consecutive NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series win at Watkins Glen, keeping his perfect record intact at the historic road course. The win was also the 13th of his already impressive NASCAR O’Reilly career and continued JR Motorsports’ incredible road course dominance.
